About Celebrity Ascent
Celebrity Ascent launched in December 2023 as the fourth and newest Edge-class ship. At 140,600 gross tons (identical to Beyond), Ascent brings Celebrity's modern luxury design to new itineraries while maintaining all the innovations that made the Edge class revolutionary.
The ship features the same beloved amenities as Beyond including Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud, the dramatic Sunset Bar, and expanded Magic Carpet. Celebrity worked with Kelly Hoppen on the interior design, giving Ascent distinctive touches while maintaining the Edge-class design language throughout.
Celebrity Ascent attracts discerning travelers who appreciate contemporary design, exceptional dining, and attentive service. The ship offers Caribbean itineraries from Fort Lauderdale, perfect for those seeking modern luxury in tropical destinations.

Switching From Costco Paid Off
We almost booked with Costco for Royal Caribbean. They offered a small rebate card, but Zipsea added $400 in OBC...
Drew

..My party and I can actually utilize the credit for our excursions. What a seamless experience.

The Real Deal!
Great OBC offers and comparable price to other sites. Had no issues with the booking or getting the OBC credited to my account. Customer service has been very responsive to my questions and needs.

Exemplary Service
Zipsea was able to give me onboard credit that Celebrity or other agents couldn't match. When the price dropped, I texted Mario and within 5 minutes he repriced my booking and saved me almost $1000.

Frequently Asked Questions
When did Celebrity Ascent launch?
Celebrity Ascent launched in December 2023 from Fort Lauderdale as Celebrity's newest ship and the fourth in the Edge class.
Is Celebrity Ascent the same as Celebrity Beyond?
Ascent and Beyond are sister ships with identical layouts and venues. Both feature Le Voyage restaurant, Sunset Bar, and expanded spaces. Interior design details differ slightly with Kelly Hoppen's touches on Ascent.
What stateroom categories are on Celebrity Ascent?
Celebrity Ascent offers Inside, Ocean View, Infinite Veranda (floor-to-ceiling windows), AquaClass (spa-focused), and Suite categories including The Retreat penthouses and the iconic two-story Edge Villas.
What is onboard credit (OBC)?
Onboard credit is ship money you can use during your cruise—like a prepaid gift card. Spend it on drinks, specialty dining, Wi-Fi, spa treatments, excursions, or onboard shopping.
How does Zipsea give me more onboard credit than others?
Travel agents earn commission on every booking, and most keep it. We don't—we pass back the maximum onboard credit the cruise line allows, every time.
Do I pay more to book with Zipsea?
No. You pay the same published fare you'd see on the cruise line's website.
How much onboard credit will I actually get?
It depends on your fare and the cruise line's rules. As a ballpark, shorter cruises usually allow $50–$100 and longer cruises $150–$500+. When you search a sailing, we show you the exact amount.
