About Allure of the Seas
Allure of the Seas entered service in 2010 as the second Oasis-class ship and a near-identical sister to Oasis of the Seas. At 225,282 gross tons, Allure held the record as the world's largest cruise ship upon launch. The ship underwent a major amplification in 2020, adding new features while preserving its beloved seven-neighborhood layout.
The amplification brought updates including a reimagined pool deck, new Caribbean-inspired Giovanni's Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar, Portside BBQ, and the Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade. The Central Park neighborhood remains a guest favorite with its living trees, boutique shops, and specialty restaurants under the open sky.
Allure of the Seas is ideal for first-time cruisers and families who want the full mega-ship experience with proven entertainment and dining. The ship sails Caribbean itineraries from various ports, including stops at Perfect Day at CocoCay.

Switching From Costco Paid Off
We almost booked with Costco for Royal Caribbean. They offered a small rebate card, but Zipsea added $400 in OBC...

Exemplary Service
Zipsea was able to give me onboard credit that Celebrity or other agents couldn't match. When the price dropped, I texted Mario and within 5 minutes he repriced my booking and saved me almost $1000.

Frequently Asked Questions
When was Allure of the Seas refurbished?
Allure of the Seas underwent Royal Caribbean's Royal Amplification program in 2020, adding new dining venues, redesigned pool areas, and updated entertainment spaces while maintaining its iconic seven-neighborhood design.
What is Central Park on Allure of the Seas?
Central Park is an open-air neighborhood in the center of the ship featuring over 12,000 live plants, specialty restaurants like Chops Grille and 150 Central Park, boutiques, and the Rising Tide Bar.
Is Allure of the Seas the same as Oasis of the Seas?
Allure and Oasis are sister ships with nearly identical designs. Allure was slightly larger by a few inches when launched. Both ships have since been amplified with different updates, giving each unique features.
What is onboard credit (OBC)?
Onboard credit is ship money you can use during your cruise—like a prepaid gift card. Spend it on drinks, specialty dining, Wi-Fi, spa treatments, excursions, or onboard shopping.
How does Zipsea give me more onboard credit than others?
Travel agents earn commission on every booking, and most keep it. We don't—we pass back the maximum onboard credit the cruise line allows, every time.
Do I pay more to book with Zipsea?
No. You pay the same published fare you'd see on the cruise line's website—except we give you back the maximum onboard credit on top.
How much onboard credit will I actually get?
It depends on your fare and the cruise line's rules. As a ballpark, shorter cruises usually allow $50–$100 and longer cruises $150–$500+. When you search a sailing, we show you the exact amount.
