About Mariner of the Seas

Mariner of the Seas launched in 2003 as a Voyager-class ship and underwent a $90 million Royal Amplification in 2018. At 138,279 gross tons, the amplified Mariner now features modern attractions including the Sky Pad virtual reality experience and laser tag arena.

The renovation transformed Mariner into a perfect short-cruise ship with the addition of Perfect Storm waterslides, FlowRider surf simulator updates, and new dining venues. The ship introduced Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade and expanded kids and teen spaces.

Mariner of the Seas is ideal for quick getaways and weekend cruisers seeking maximum activities. Based in Los Angeles, the ship offers convenient 3, 4, and 5-night cruises to Catalina Island, Ensenada, and Mexico.
