Zaandam launched in 2000 as an R-class ship featuring Holland America's signature music theme. At 61,396 gross tons, Zaandam celebrates music history with instruments, costumes, and memorabilia throughout, including an Ignatious Loyola guitar from Eric Clapton.

The ship offers Holland America's classic mid-sized cruising experience with intimate ambiance and excellent service. The Culinary Arts Center, spa, and specialty dining complement the main dining room and Lido Marketplace.
